Standing Quadriceps Stretch

Execution Guide

  1. Stand on one leg and grab the ankle of the other leg behind you.
  2. Pull your heel toward your glute.
  3. Keep your knees together and your standing leg slightly bent.
  4. Hold for 20-30 seconds.
  5. Switch legs and repeat.

Range of Motion

Foot pulled back to glute with a stretch felt in the front of the thigh.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • ×Leaning forward instead of standing tall
  • ×Pulling the knee out to the side
  • ×Bouncing the stretch
