Lying Leg Curl Machine

Execution Guide

  1. Lie face down on the machine with the pad resting on the back of your ankles.
  2. Grip the handles and keep your hips flat on the bench.
  3. Curl your legs up toward your glutes by contracting your hamstrings.
  4. Squeeze at the top of the movement.
  5. Lower the weight slowly back to the starting position.

Range of Motion

Legs straight to heels as close to the glutes as possible.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • ×Lifting the hips off the bench during the curl
  • ×Using momentum to swing the weight up
  • ×Not achieving full range of motion
