Step-up on Step Box
Execution Guide
- Stand in front of a box or bench with optional dumbbells at your sides.
- Step up with one foot, placing it fully on the box.
- Drive through the heel of the top foot to step up completely.
- Stand tall on the box with both feet.
- Step back down with the trailing leg and repeat.
Range of Motion
Floor level to full standing on the box.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- ×Pushing off with the trailing leg instead of driving with the lead leg
- ×Leaning too far forward
- ×Using a box that is too high, compromising form
