Seated Leg Extension (Both Legs)
Execution Guide
- Sit on the machine with your back against the pad and adjust the ankle pad.
- Position the pad just above your ankles on the front of your shins.
- Extend your legs until they are straight, squeezing the quads at the top.
- Hold for a moment at full extension.
- Lower the weight slowly back to the starting position.
Range of Motion
Knees bent at 90 degrees to full leg extension.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- ×Using momentum by swinging the weight up
- ×Lifting the glutes off the seat
- ×Not controlling the eccentric (dropping the weight)
